Rene Huber vintage original costume sketch of Jean Peters as "Ruth Manning" from Love that Brute. (TCF, 1950) Vintage original Rene Huber costume sketch accomplished in pencil and gouache on 7.25 x 10.5 in. artist parchment paper visible through 13 x 20 in. paper mat. Depicting Peters in 20s period charcoal dress with sash and white collar and cuffs. Pencil tech. notes on the mat and snipe with printed scenic info stapled to the mat. Fabric swatch attached upper right. Signed by the artist below the image on the mat. With minor soiling and some staining to mat. The sketch remains in vintage, very good condition.
