Vintage original costume sketch of Anthony Quinn as "Chen-Ta" in China Sky. (RKO, 1945) Vintage original costume sketch of Anthony Quinn as "Chen-Ta" in the wartime romance China Sky. Accomplished in pencil and gouache on 11 x 17.5 in. artists parchment visible through 16.25 x 22.5 in. mat. Depicting Quinn as a Chinese period soldier with guns and ammo belt. There are notes in the margins in pencil and tape across the upper portion of the paper, not affecting the artwork. The sketch is signed with initials, "MVH" below image. With puckering around image from application of medium and minor yellowing. In vintage good condition. Unexamined out of mat.
