Bob Peak, Comp Art Portrait of Marlon Brando for 1973 Time Magazine Cover. Original comp artwork by master poster designer Bob Peak, depicting the floating head and upper body of Marlon Brando, commissioned by Time Magazine for Brando's Last Tango In Paris cover appearance. Accomplished with pastel, colored pencil, and mixed media elements on an embellished paste-up over an airbrushed background with a yellowish orange flare over Brando's head, reminiscent of a halo. This loving portrait of the actor measures 20" x 24" on artist's board. Exhibits some signs of handling and wear with toning and edgewear along the perimeters.
