M*A*S*H* (TCF TV, 1972-1983), Harry Morgan "Col. Sherman T. Potter" Field Cap. Vintage original U.S. Army-issued field cap as worn by Colonel Sherman T. Potter (Harry Morgan) on the hit war comedy drama series M*A*S*H*, constructed of an olive green cotton hat with visor and ear covering, with silver-colored colonel's eagle pin to center, retaining internal Western Costume Co. stamp and handwritten, "H. Morgan". M*A*S*H* was a long-running and widely loved war comedy drama series that centered around a team of doctors and support staff stationed in South Korea during the Korean War. It ran for 11 seasons and over 250 episodes, earning its place as one of the greatest television series of all time. Notably, its series finale episode held the title for most watched television broadcast in the United States from 1983 to 2010, when it was surpassed by Super Bowl XLIV, and remains the most-watched finale of any television series. Colonel Potter entered the series at the beginning of Season 4 as the new commanding officer from the "Regular Army", whom the rest of central characters feared would be impervious to their hijinks and pranks. Exhibiting expected age and wear commensurate production-used wardrobe, with some toning and stains to the exterior and smudging to the original identifying writing inside the earflaps.
