Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Working Replica Batcomputer Signed by Burt Ward. 1:1 replica "Batcomputer" modeled after the essential Batcave prop device used by Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) as they strategize to fend off their enemies in the original Batman television series. This high-quality, custom-made replica is constructed of a wooden body painted in silver and pale-blue to reproduce the exterior design of the original metal consoles, with additional metal, plastic, fiberboard, and electronic components including 1- display screen console and 1- meter gauge display console, along with a motherboard-computer component mounted to top resembling the Burroughs Electrodata B205 computer that was the inspiration for the original Batcomputer used in production. Additionally, a plastic red phone resembling the Batphone is mounted to the console's "desk" area. Displays, computer components, and Batphone are actively wired and functional upon initial electronics testing. When plugged in, the display lights activate, cycling through a pre-set pattern, which also triggers the Batphone to light up and ring, and to playback a variety of "voice messages" featuring snippets of dialogue from the series. Several switches and toggles are functional as "on/off" switches when the unit is plugged in as well. The Batman theme song is also activated to play on a cycle, projected through 2- speakers mounted into the lower quadrants of the console. The "Gotham City Views" display was not shown to be working upon initial testing, though a connected flash-drive is present. All electronics are tidily arranged and pre-installed to the exposed rear panel of the console, needing only a 3-prong female extension to activate. Front right panel of the console is signed prominently in black felt tip, "Burt Ward / 'Robin'". Item measures 70.25" x 49" x 30" and is mounted to a set of rolling wheels on a wooden support system for ease of movement. Exhibits some signs of age and wear including areas of chipped paint, however overall an incredibly well-made and loving replica of the beloved Batcomputer with whimsical touches and wonderful display function. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA. From The Stewart Berkowitz Television Treasures Collection.
