Batman: The Movie (TCF, 1966), Lee Meriwether "Catwoman" Signature Costume. Vintage original (2) piece costume ensemble donned by Catwoman (Lee Meriwether) in the 1966 feature-length film adaptation of the beloved series, consisting of (1) shimmery black lamé bodysuit with standing boat neck collar, darted waistline, 2- integral external hooks for attaching belt, feet stirrups, internal web strap at waist, and zipper back closure. Retaining internal studio label typed, "20th Century Fox" and Berman's Costumiers bias label, and (1) stretch belt with gold-colored metallic scales and gold-colored buckle with gold-colored floral faux jewel. Exhibiting production wear and age including 1- 1" breach to right wrist area of the bodysuit and 1-foot stirrup with split. Lot is accompanied by replica cat-eye mask and ears, black gauntlet gloves with gold-colored "cat" nails, a pair of black heeled boots, and a brown wig for display purposes. Stewart took great pride in displaying his collection and had many custom-built mannequins in the likeness of the character made for his costumes. This lot includes one of those mannequins, which is in used and well-loved condition and will require special shipping. The option is yours if you would like to receive the mannequin.
