Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Burgess Meredith "Penguin" Pyrotechnic Prop Umbrella. Vintage original special FX umbrella constructed of a commercial umbrella with wooden handle, brass-colored shaft, and black nylon fabric canopy specially modified for pyrotechnic action with internal wiring and a gun-barrel top. The functioning metal skeleton of the umbrella moves into locking position. The handle is carved bent wood. Visible frequently throughout the series when the fan-favorite villain, Penguin (Burgess Meredith) would deploy the device to either shoot at or gas the Dynamic Duo with noxious fumes. An iconic and essential component of Penguin's ensemble. Exhibiting minor wear expected from production use. Electronics remain untested.
