Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Adam West "Bruce Wayne" Pinstripe Suit Ensemble. Vintage original (2) piece Bruce Wayne (Adam West) pinstripe suit from the original Batman television series, worn by the actor in civilian dress, consisting of (1) navy wool single-breasted pinstripe suit jacket with notch lapels, retaining interior label marked, "20th Century Fox" "Batman" "1967" "A. West" and with Andrew Pallack maker's label, and (1) matching pair of navy wool pinstripe trousers with zipper front and hook-and-eye closure. Adam West portrayed the titular Batman in the original series, which ran from 1966 to 1968, and through which he and the series became household names, synonymous with the rise in popularity of the superhero genre. Bruce Wayne can often be seen in dapper attire such as this ensemble when assuming his civilian persona, attempting to convince those around him he was nothing more than a debonaire millionaire industrialist. Lot is accompanied by a white button down shirt, matching red paisley ascot and pocket square, black leather dress belt, and black dress shoes for display purposes. Stewart took great pride in displaying his collection and had many custom-built mannequins in the likeness of the character made for his costumes. This lot includes one of those mannequins, which is in used and well-loved condition and will require special shipping. The option is yours if you would like to receive the mannequin.
