Hellboy reels back from an imposing grim reaper, its skeletal grin framed by a tangle of black robes and circling ravens. This is not a known Mignola character, but the figure reflects his recurring death motifs with skeletal forms, cloaked reapers, and looming omens. The stark, angular brushwork evokes the mythic dread and quiet finality present throughout Mignola's most iconic pages.
