DC Batman Battery-Operated Motorcycle (Open Box, Broken) (Tam Toys, 1970s). The world's greatest detective trades the Batmobile for a more compact crusader's ride in this vintage battery-operated motorcycle from Tam Toys. Likely produced in the 1970s during the wave of global Batman merchandising inspired by both the Adam West series and DC's Silver Age resurgence, this unofficial yet exuberant toy captures the charm of international Batman oddities-complete with Robin riding shotgun in a brightly labeled sidecar. The light-up feature, dynamic decal design, and bold "Bat Man & Robin" branding reflect the colorful, kinetic energy of mid-century toy production when licenses were loose and imagination was king. Condition is open box, broken. The box shows heavy edge and corner wear, including scuffing, creasing, crushing, and small tears throughout. The figure appears unused but shows moderate storage wear, with Batman's blue paint fading toward green and his legs bowed inward from long-term separation from the bike. The motorcycle features one broken handlebar (included in the box), and several decals are lifting due to age. A delightfully eccentric piece of global Bat-lore, this toy stands as a testament to how far the Caped Crusader's influence reached-and how creatively manufacturers interpreted Gotham's gadgets abroad. For collectors of early DC ephemera or vintage bootleg charm, this "Bat Man & Robin" duo still brings undeniable character, even when running on half a charge.
