G.I. Joe Action Pilot with Original Box and Accessories (Hasbro, 1964). This early G.I. Joe Action Pilot, released in 1964 as part of Hasbro's first wave of military-themed 12-inch figures, comes with both original accessories and additional uniform items, offering a well-rounded example of the brand's formative years. The figure remains intact and in good condition, with his orange jumpsuit, a blue fatigue cap, and boots. Also included are the Navy manual, boot removal instructions, a used insignia decal sheet, and two color fold-out product catalogs. In addition to the core outfit, the lot includes a vintage flight suit and green duffel bag, expanding the display and customization possibilities. The figure is housed in its original box, which has suffered severe wear from age and use. The top of the box has a completely torn upper left corner, and the original owner has written their name on the inside of the box lid. The bottom half of the box has three of its four corners blown out and a large rip along one edge, resulting in a loss of structural integrity. The entire box exhibits heavy edge and corner wear from scuffing, with significant surface wear across all panels, including widespread creasing and scratching. Despite the heavy box damage, the figure itself remains a clean example of the 1964 Action Pilot, and the inclusion of both standard and bonus uniform pieces adds extra value and versatility. For collectors interested in early G.I. Joe history or those seeking a restoration-ready specimen with character, this is a richly detailed representation of Hasbro's early commitment to realism and military authenticity in toy design.
