DC Batman Hot-Line Phones non-functioning Lot of 2 (Louis Marx & Co., 1966). From the peak of Batmania in the 1960s comes a duo of Marx's iconic Batman Hot-Line toy phones, vintage collectibles inspired by the unforgettable red Batphone from the Batman TV series. Each phone includes the original box, and both retain their original decals and cords. The molded plastic phones were designed to play ten different phrases when the button was pressed; however, these items are no longer functioning.

Both examples show heavy signs of age and use. The phones display various levels of play wear, scuffing, and surface fading. The boxes are especially worn, with extensive edge wear, creasing, surface tears, and veining throughout. One box lid has torn in two pieces. The included instruction sheets are yellowed and creased from handling and storage. Still, few items scream 1960s Bat-mania quite like a red plastic hotline with the Caped Crusader's face on the receiver. Whether you grew up answering these calls to action or you're hunting down authentic pieces of vintage pop culture, this pair delivers a Bat-signal blast of nostalgic charm. Call in your bid before Commissioner Gordon beats you to it!
