1936/1937 Gibson L7 Sunburst Archtop Acoustic Guitar, Serial #94145.
Very fine example of a late 1930s Gibson L-7 archtop, featuring a 17-inch lower bout and rare X-braced top construction. The original Sunburst finish shows medium nicks, dings, and finish checking, but the body remains entirely crack-free. The 3-piece neck has a minor center seam crack near the heel. It has a straight profile with minimal wear to the original frets. Original tuners, tailpiece, and bridge are all intact and fully functional.
Hard case included. Condition: Excellent.

The Gibson L-7 from 1936/1937 represents one of the most desirable pre-war archtop acoustics, especially in its X-braced form. While later L-7s shifted to parallel bracing, this earlier version delivers a more responsive and open tone, prized by jazz players and fingerstyle guitarists alike.
