1965 Gibson Dove Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, Serial #341443.
1965 Gibson Dove in Sunburst finish, Serial #341443. This square-shouldered classic features its original finish throughout, showing typical Gibson-style checking. It retains all original components, including the engraved pickguard, rosewood bridge, and Tune-o-matic saddle. The guitar has one 5" tight, cleated top crack on the treble side of the lower bout, along with a small shrinkage crack near the pickguard and soundhole. The original pickguard is loose and slightly cupped. The original bridge has shifted forward and will need to be reglued. Minor binding shrinkage is also present. The nut measures 1 9/16". The original frets show only light wear, and the interior remains clean and original aside from one cleat beneath the top crack.
