The Rolling Stones ABC Great Yarmouth UK Concert Poster (1965). Vintage original window card-size concert poster in bright red, pink, and yellow, promoting the Stones' headlining appearance at the ABC Theater in Great Yarmouth, UK on July 25, 1965. Measuring 10" x 15", the listed lineup includes Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers, The Silkie, Mike Cotton Sound, and Marian Angel. The event was compered by Don Wardell. The portraits of the Rolling Stones are applied manually, indicating that this poster could be a scarce original proof of the poster produced directly by the Manchester-based printer of the poster, Electric Printing Co. Ltd. The poster with attractive and highly presentable appearance retaining its bold colors. Inscribed to top margin in red ballpoint "W. 1730 / 100 / 7/7/95". Provenance: Acquired from the family who ran Electric (Modern) Printing Co. Ltd. Literature: Rolling Stone 50, 2012, pp. 122-123 (illustrated). Exhibits light wear including very minor nicks and toning to the edges and corners, light handling creases, and long thin scratch from the first 'L' in 'Rolling' to the lower section of Brian Jones' photo. Toning to verso, with loop applied to top edge for display. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
