The Rolling Stones Collection of (5) Signed Portraits (ca. 1964-66). (5) Vintage original drawings on paper, each measuring 8.25" x 10" with fan-made portrait in pencil depicting a Rolling Stones member, signed in blue ink by the respective subject: Mick Jagger ("Love to Sue"), Brian Jones, Keith Richards ("Love"), Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts ("Love"). The autographs were obtained by the original owner who established regular correspondence with Keith Richards' mother from 1964. Regarding the portrait of Keith, his mother recalled that she "will make sure Keith sees it when he comes home, as you know he had 3 yrs at art school so I will give you firsthand criticism of it..." Provenance: Bonhams London, June 18, 2008, Lot 141 (Part). Exhibits light nicks or trimming to the edges and light discoloration from age.
