Red River (UA, 1948), Belt Buckle Merchandise. Vintage original brass belt buckle with raised text reading "Red River 1948" to front, featuring a bas-relief border resembling twisted rope and a stylized depiction in bas-relief of the cattle brand for Wayne's Ranch in the movie: a "D" with two wavy lines representing the banks of the river. This belt buckle was mass-produced for the film's release in 1948 as part of its merchandising. Measures 3.75" x 2.5". Item exhibits handling and wear as to be expected with age, with oxidation to back and noticeable surface wear with minor pitting to the letter "e" in "Red". Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
