Vintage original 8" x 10" B&W photograph of Irene "Granny" Ryan, in costume as her most famous character. In the top right corner, the actress has signed, "Howdy from Irene 'Granny' Ryan." Although Ryan was a well-known vaudeville and radio comedienne, she found new stardom playing Granny Ryan on The Beverly Hillbillies, CBS TV's runaway hit that lasted close to a decade.
