GoldenEye (EON, 1995), Pair of Concept Artworks by Syd Cain. Original pair of concept artworks by storyboard artist Syd Cain, including (1) illustration of a train crash in a mountain area accomplished in graphite and charcoal on white 11.5" x 16.5" paper, signed by Syd Cain on the lower right corner in ink, and (1) collage of 6-gadget illustrations, accomplished in ink, colored pencil, and graphite on paper that were cut-out and glued to an 11.75" x 16.5" black artist's board, signed by Syd Cain in white pencil on the lower right corner with "24" 90," and "'Q Gadget' Sc 21. GOLDENEYE'" on the lower left corner. The train storyboard artwork was most likely from a first draft that included a high-speed chase involving an Aston Martin and a train. The gadget concept artwork may have been from a scene where Q (Desmond Llewelyn) first appears and shows James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) some of the gadgets they were developing for the spy. Items exhibit production wear and age, including some handling wear, edge wear, and smudging. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
