Hollywood Shortys 2/3 Basketball Jersey (ca. 1979). Vintage original gold with royal blue trim basketball jersey, with "Hollywood Shortys" emblazoned on the front and "2/3" in iron-on numbers on the back. The Hollywood Shortys basketball team made up entirely of little people, was started in 1948 by Billy Barty, who also founded the LPA (Little People of America). By the late 70s the team expanded into basketball, who's combination of athleticism and comedy made them quite popular in the 1980's. Exhibits some fading to the lettering on the front and wear to the numbers on the back. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
