Star Trek: First Contact (Paramount, 1996), Patrick Stewart "Jean-Luc Picard" Original Costume Sketch. Original costume sketch measuring 14" x 17" on Bristol paper and realized in graphite, ink, and gouache. Designed by the film's Head Costume Designer, Deborah Everton, and illustrated by the Senior Sketch Artist, Gina A. Flanagan, the piece features the heroic Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) in his Zero-G spacesuit with phaser in hand. The illustration depicts a yellow colorway for the suit which would ultimately be changed to red in the film. Both Everton and Flanagan signed the piece along the bottom edges of the illustration. The second film to feature
The Next Generation's cast of characters and the directorial debut of Jonathan Frakes, who also portrays First Officer William Riker,
First Contact was a critical and financial success for the franchise and is considered to be one of the best
