Trio of Tyrone Power Handwritten Letters (1937). Vintage original group of (3) letters, each written in blue ink on 7.25" x 10" off-white fibrous paper with a navy embossed sigil at the top. Includes (1) single page letter signed "Tyrone" at the end of the letter expressing gratitude to the recipient, accompanied by an envelope stamped with the date June 3, 1937, (1) 2-page letter that mentions "Chicago," and the tragic passing of actress Jean Harlow, who was meant to star in In Old Chicago (1938), accompanied by an envelope stamped with the date June 9, 1937, and (1) 2-page letter that mentions the recipient working on a script, Powers working simultaneously on Thin Ice (1937) and In Old Chicago (1938), and his dinner date with actress Janet Gaynor, signed "Tyrone" at the end of the letter. The recipient of the letters, Maynard Morris, was a a friend and confidant of Power's. Items exhibit handling wear and age, including some ink bleeding. All pages exhibit tri-fold creasing.
