BG-91 Pink Floyd (Debut American Show), Janis Joplin 1967 S.F. Concert Poster Graded 9.9 Mint. First-and-only printing San Francisco concert poster for Pink Floyd making their first-ever American appearance, Big Brother & the Holding Company w/Janis Joplin and Richie Havens scheduled to play at both the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland on Thursday thru Saturday nights, November 2-4, 1967. Designed by Bonnie MacLean and known as BG-91 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was graded a stupendous 9.9 Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company), one of only two copies to get that grade (and no 10's have ever been awarded). Heritage sold the other 9.9 back in 2022 for $11,250.

The stand's last date, Saturday Nov. 4, marked Pink Floyd's debut North American show. The Floyd appeared on three straight Bill Graham posters - 90, 91 and 92 - but due to Visa and other problems, many cancellations occurred. So they didn't play at all on BG-90, played their debut night here on BG-91, and played all three scheduled nights on BG-92. Another Floyd tidbit: the group's new single "Flaming," written and sung by Syd Barrett and taken from their debut album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, was released by Tower Records in America this very week, so you can be sure it was performed. Measures 14 1/8" x 21 1/8". COA from Heritage Auctions.
