BG-37 Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane 1966 Fillmore "New Year Bash" Concert Poster Graded 7.0. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Grateful Dead, the Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger Service playing at the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday and Saturday nights, December 30 & 31, 1966. This poster is noteworthy for being the Dead's first New Year's Eve show for Bill Graham, a tradition that would carry on for decades.
Designed by Wes Wilson and known as BG-37 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster measures 14" x 24 1/2" and was graded 7.0 Fine/Very Fine by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). From the Tim Backstrom Grateful Dead Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
