The Rolling Stones 1966 Aftermath U.K. Promo Poster (Decca). A pop art-like in-store promotional poster for the then-latest album by the Rolling Stones, cheekily listing it as an "ellpee" above the mention of "14 new songs." Featuring the band's British label, Decca, in the bottom left corner, there is a listing for the mono and stereo versions, as well as their producer Andrew Loog Oldham.
Released in England on April 15, 1966, this is the classic album that gave the world "Mother's Little Helper," "Lady Jane," "Out of Time" and "Under My Thumb." And the U.K. version ran a full 10 minutes longer than the U.S. issue. Measures 11" x 17" and grades to Near Mint condition.
From the David Swartz Concert Poster Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
