BG-194 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young 1969 Fillmore West & Winterland Concert Poster Graded 10 Gem Mint. First-and-only vintage printing San Francisco concert poster for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Blues Image and John Sebastian (of the Lovin' Spoonful) playing at both the Fillmore West and Winterland on Thursday thru Saturday nights, October 2-4, 1969. Known as BG-194 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was graded a totally perfect peace-and-love 10 Gem Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company).
Few rock acts of the late 60's had the commercial, cultural and critical impact of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young. CSN were enjoying the amazing acceptance of their self-titled debut album, and Young was in the middle of recording his third solo record,
After the Gold Rush. All four were fresh off their appearance at the Woodstock Festival two months earlier. Designed by Greg Irons, his final poster for Bill Graham, this poster's fun design captures the Woodstock ethos perfectly. Measures 14" x 21 1/8".
From the David Swartz Concert Poster Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
