BG-134 Grateful Dead, Santana 1968 Fillmore West Concert Poster Signed by Lee Conklin, Graded 9.8. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Grateful Dead, Santana, Steppenwolf and three other bands playing at the Fillmore West Auditorium on Tuesday thru Sunday, August 27-September 1, 1968. Famously designed by Lee Conklin and known as BG-134 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster has been signed by Conklin down in the ticket strip and graded a roaring 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company).

This poster represents one of the most popular and enduring images to emerge from the psychedelic poster scene of the 1960's. So compelling that Santana appropriated the poster's central artwork for their debut album cover the following year, turning the already highly admired art into legend. It's a poster for the ages, no question about it, and we're thrilled to be offering one of those 60's posters that everyone wanted to put up on their wall... but in beautiful condition, now preserved forever.
