BG-140 Jimi Hendrix Experience 1968 Winterland S.F. Concert Poster Graded 9.8. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Buddy Miles Express and Dino Valenti playing at the Winterland ballroom on Thursday thru Saturday nights, October 10-12, 1968. Known as BG-140 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was handed an electrifying grade of 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by the Certified Guaranty Company (CGC).
It's well-known among BG poster collectors that Griffin and Moscoso created this image and that of BG-141 together as a true collaboration. The two artistic masters sat side-by-side with both art boards in front of them and themed their work on what they had designed together for Zap Comix. Measures 14 1/8" x 21 1/2".
