First-printing concert poster for the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Big Brother & the Holding Company with Janis Joplin playing at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night, September 15, 1967. There couldn't have been a stronger San Francisco talent line-up during the Summer of Love than the trio holding down this poster - with no filler opening acts. Known as BG-81 in the Bill Graham numbered series, this poster was graded a star-studded 9.6 Near Mint Plus by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). Measures 14 1/8" x 21 1/4".
