Morgan Jones (Lennie James) / Emile LaRoux (Demetrius Grosse), Hero Battle Axe from Fear the Walking Dead (AMC 2015-2023, Season 6). Original group of (2) props including (1) Hero battle axe with a stained wooden handle affixed to a dulled metal blade, painted in bloodied hues and molded to resemble a gory weapon head, secured with metal bolts, the piece is covered in copious Walker viscera and gore crafted from painted resin, measuring 36" x 7" x 1.5" with a 16" x 4" axe blade, and (1) leather sheath crafted from leather with brass-colored riveting, measuring 17" x 3.5". This impressive Hero weapon first appears in Season 6, Episode 1, "The End is the Beginning," when Bounty Hunter Emile LaRoux (Demetrius Grosse) sets out to deliver Morgan Jones' (Lennie James) head in a box. The axe becomes a catalyst for Morgan's transformation when he bests Emile in combat, decapitating him with this very weapon. In a moment of redemption and change, Morgan not only claims the axe as his own but dons Emile's Western bounty hunter attire, adopts his hunter persona, and even takes his hound dog, Rufus. He later combines the axe head with his bo staff to forge a brutal new hybrid weapon, marking a turning point in his mission of vengeance. Items exhibit production wear and age, including studio distressing, extensive VFX blood and gore, and scuffing. Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
