Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Branding Irons from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Season 9). Original group of (4) props including (2) Hero branding irons crafted from metal with X-shaped heads and rods wrapped with a towels near the lower sections, each measuring 25" x 3.25" x 3.25", and (2) Visual Effects branding irons crafted from dense plastic with orange X-shaped heads, towels wrapping near the lower sections, and buttons beneath the handle to light the heads for VFX purposes, each measuring 28.5" x 3.25" x 3.25". Seen in Season 9, Episode 14, "Scars," when Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) are tied and branded by Jocelyn's (Rutina Wesley) group of children as part of their brutal initiation ritual, meant to strip them of control and mark them as one of their victims. Items exhibit production wear and age, with light distressing and soiling. Internal mechanisms and electronics remain untested. Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
