Group of (4) Whisperers' Masks from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Seasons 9-10). Original group of (4) foam latex Whisperers' masks with inset detailing to resemble aged and decayed human flesh, each featuring applied synthetic hair and a slit opening at the back with punch holes threaded with laces to fasten. Expertly studio-distressed with darkened accents, layered wrinkles, and faux soiling to create a grotesque, unsettling appearance. Created by KNB EFX Group under the direct supervision of practical effects and makeup legend/The Walking Dead showrunner Greg Nicotero, these masks were designed for use by background performers portraying the Whisperers, a ruthless group of survivors who disguise themselves in the skins of the dead to move undetected among Walkers and instill fear in the living. Items exhibit production wear and age, including studio distressing and weathering. Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
