Aaron (Ross Marquand), Hero Prosthetic Arm and Bone Saw from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Seasons 9-11). Original group of (2) props including (1) Hero prosthetic arm constructed of a dense cast rubber sleeve and hollow hand with a hinged closure secured by 3-screws, hinged metal splints on both sides of the forearm and bicep secured with washers, nuts, and bolts, and a dark brown leather bicep sleeve with 3-adjustable straps featuring hand stitched accents and brass buckles, measuring 25" x 5" x 6". The rubber components have been expertly painted and studio detailed to resemble hand-carved wood and worn metal. Also included is (1) metal bone saw with serrated teeth and studio distressing, including faux blood splatter along the blade, measuring 11.25" x 2.75". Aaron (Ross Marquand) loses his left arm in Season 9, Episode 2, "The Bridge," after a log falls on it while trying to escape a horde of Walkers. The injury is so severe, Enid (Katelyn Nacon) is forced to amputate the damaged arm to save his life. After the six-year time jump seen in Season 9, Episode 6, "Who Are You Now," Aaron begins to wear the wooden prosthetic hand until the series finale, often using it as a way to battle against Walkers and sometimes replacing the hand with a metal mace. Items exhibit production wear and age, including paint scuffing along the arm.
Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
