Waterlogged Walker Display Figure from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Season 5). Original life-sized Walker display figure featuring a grotesque visage of a waterlogged corpse, measuring approx. 67" x 39" x 17". Constructed of foam latex with a metal internal substructure with sloughing skin, matted applied hair, and cloth pants that have been studio distressed. Each foot is attached to a weighted metal base so that the figure can stand freely. Cast from the same molds used to create Walkers seen on screen, it has been expertly studio crafted, and hand painted by the artists at KNB EFX Group under the direct supervision of practical effects and makeup legend/The Walking Dead showrunner Greg Nicotero. This display figure was designed for conventions and events that showcased The Walking Dead Universe and depicts the iconic and horrific waterlogged Walker design featured in Season 5, Episode 2, "Strangers." In the episode, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors meet with a cowardly and grieving priest, Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam), who helps them raid his town's food bank for supplies. As they enter the flooded basement, they are met with a horde of Walkers who have begun to deteriorate in the watery environment. Exhibits general display and traveling wear, including paint loss across the body and light separation to the foam latex around the neck, shoulders, and feet.
