Dale Horvath (Jeffrey DeMunn), RV from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Seasons 1-2). Original 1973 Winnebago Chieftain model D-27C numbered "9866" measuring approx. 330" X 119" x 96" with a white exterior, patented yellow paneling, and stylized "W" across the left of the frame, rear ladder, partial rear roof rack, curtained windows, shag carpeted and wood paneled interior with brown leather seats, kitchenette with dining area, bathroom, bedroom, and storage compartments throughout. Identified as a Dodge RM400 chassis, VIN: R59CA3J012101. This signature vehicle, owned and driven by Dale Horvath (Jeffrey DeMunn), makes its first appearance in the series debut, Season 1, Episode 1, "Days Gone Bye," when Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) tries to make radio contact with a mysterious voice over a ham radio. It continues to play a pivotal role throughout Seasons 1 and 2 as its inhabitants use it as their home base. It is tragically lost in Season 2, Episode 13," Beside the Dying Fire," when it is engulfed in flames, burning down alongside Hershel Greene's (Scott Wilson) barn. Exhibits heavy wear and age with additional interior and exterior weathering from exposure to environmental elements including paint peeling, discoloration, and soiled carpeting with faux blood. The present lot is offered as a prop vehicle for display purposes only and is sold on Bill of Sale without vehicle title.
