Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Hero Letter to Morgan Jones (Lennie James) from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Season 1). Original Hero letter constructed of an unevenly cut repurposed cardboard package with a 1" strip of blue tape across the top edge with a white floral pattern, measuring 9.75" x 7.5". The letter reads "MORGAN / GOING TO CDC / THIS AREA / NOT SAFE / RICK" in thick black marker. Featured in Season 1, Episode 5, "Wildfire," when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and fellow survivors decide to make their way to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention facilities in Druid Hills, Georgia. As their convoy leaves the campsite they had been living in, Rick leaves a note and map for Morgan Jones (Lennie James) on the door of a red Dodge Challenger in hopes that he and his son Duane Jones (Adrian Kali Turner) will follow in their footsteps to safety. Exhibits general production wear and age. Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
