Description

A Walter Matthau Script from "The Odd Couple II." Paramount, 1998. Looseleaf pages housed in a black leatherette binder, marked "5th Draft," screenplay by Neil Simon, dated "May 8, 1997," 120 pages, with the character name "Oscar" highlighted in yellow ink throughout; from the sequel that Matthau made thirty years after the original 1968 "Odd Couple" with co-star Jack Lemmon reprising his role as "Felix Ungar;" interestingly, the binder this script is now housed in is stamped on the inside cover "Out to Sea 1996" -- the 20th Century Fox film the duo made the year before.

Included with a "Letter of Provenance" signed by Charlie Matthau, son of Walter Matthau.
