Boris Karloff Devil's Island Photo Negatives. In 1938, Boris Karloff starred in Warner Bros.' Devil's Island, enjoying one his most heroic, sympathetic roles as Dr. Charles Gaudet, unjustly imprisoned on the infamous penal colony. Warners provided Boris a handsome, dynamic makeup, and these three negatives present three different and dramatic showcases of the star as the suffering Gaudet. Karloff himself admired these shots and saved them until his death in 1969. Excellent condition. From the Boris Karloff Estate Collection.
