Boris Karloff 1930s Pictures. An interesting trio of 8" x 10" b&w pictures of Boris Karloff during his most colorful career decade. The lot includes a portrait of a smiling Karloff, taken shortly after the triumphant release of Frankenstein; a candid shot of Boris with his wife Dorothy at a restaurant, circa mid-1930s; and a candid of Karloff relaxing in a lounge chair by the pool of his Coldwater Canyon home, circa 1936. (Nearby is a life saver from the S.S. Paris, which Boris brought home as a souvenir from one his voyages.) All are copies from Sara Karloff's collection and are in Excellent condition. From the Boris Karloff Estate Collection. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Sara Karloff Sparkman.
