Babe Ruth and William Bendix Autographs Display. Rushed into release while the baseball legend was on his death bed, The Babe Ruth Story starred William Bendix as the Sultan of Swat opposite Claire Trevor, Charles Bickford, and William Frawley. This 8" x 10" b&w photo is inscribed and signed by Ruth and dated May 7, 1948, and is one of the last photos he autographed. The photo is in Excellent condition, and is matted and framed along with a b&w 3" x 4" headshot signed by Bendix in black ink and a b&w 8" x 10" promo photo for the film, to an overall size of 14" x 24.25". Accompanied by a James Spence Authentication auction LOA. Requires third party shipping.
