Rosemary's Baby Script Signed by Set Decorator George Nelson and Mia Farrow Signed Photo. "Pray for Rosemary's Baby" pleaded the posters for Roman Polanski's 1968 satanic classic, starring Mia Farrow as the woman tragically fated to bear Lucifer's child. This lot offers the 167-page second draft by director/screenwriter Polanski (based on the Ira Levin novel), dated June 16, 1967 and signed on the cover by the film's set decorator, George R. Nelson (credited on the film as Robert Nelson). Nelson had added annotations and the script (bound in an attractive Paramount Studios cover) also contains the film's complete and very detailed shooting schedule. The lot additionally features an 8" x 10" b&w portrait of Mia Farrow, signed to Nelson in black ink, "To Bob Happiness! love Mia Farrow." The star has added a "happy face" to the inscription -- a nice adornment, considering the eerie nature of this lot. The script and picture are both in Excellent condition.
