John F. Kennedy and Elvis Presley Autographed Knights of Columbus Dinner Program, 1956. The autographs of two of the 20th Century's most iconic figures on the same item! This 6" x 9" program for the Annual Columbus Celebration of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Knights of Columbus, held on October 14, 1956. Delivering the address was the Honorable John F. Kennedy, United States Senator from Massachusetts, and he signed the program's front cover in blue ink. As fate would have it, signing the back cover in pencil was "Elvis A. Presley," who two weeks later made his second appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Adding to the item's charm is the fact that Kennedy's signature is near the "K of C" insignia, while Elvis's autograph on the back neighbors the cartoon of a sinister-looking magician in an advertisement for Crawford "Marvel-Lift" Garage Doors. The program is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with a small amount of discoloration to the spine, and both autographs are sharp and neat. A truly unique item, commemorating the very top echelon of political and musical giants.
