Laurel and Hardy Signed Documents. This set of documents includes a letter of agreement from Hal Roach Studios to Stan Laurel, dated July 14, 1939, signed by Laurel in black ink; a four-page agreement dated May 7, 1934, signed by Laurel and ex-wife Lois on the front page in black ink; a letter regarding a suspended contract between Laurel and Hal Roach Studios, dated June 13, 1934, signed by Laurel in black ink, accompanied by a letter from Laurel's attorney dated May 14, 1934; a two-page letter from Laurel to the studio seeking time off to complete re-shoots for an unspecified MGM film, dated March 8, 1934, signed by Laurel in black ink; a notarized photocopy of an affidavit dated September 7, 1972, signed by Hal Roach in blue ink; and two photo prints of a contract amendment dated April 8, 1939, bearing the signature of Oliver Hardy, accompanied by an unsigned letter from Hal Roach Studios to Hardy, dated December 29, 1939. The documents are in overall Very Fine condition with fold creases to most and mild general wear. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
