Lucille Ball's Personal Address Book. Lucille Ball's personal address book, in teal leather case with "Lucy" engraved in gold in the lower right corner. Contents include home and phone data for dozens of celebrities, among them Steve Allen, Jack Benny, Edgar Bergen, Milton Berle, Gypsy Rose Lee, Dean Martin, Ethel Merman, Edward G. Robinson, Ann Sothern, and many more, as well as her perennial TV co-stars Vivian Vance and Gale Gordon and her former husband, Desi Arnaz. There are also sections for doctors, New York City stores, the various Schwabs pharmacies in Los Angeles, etc. -- 40 pages in all. Much annotation, some of it in Lucy's handwriting. The book dates to early/mid-1960s, based on the contacts still living at the time and the lack of ZIP codes. There is some minor scuffing and pen marks on cover; otherwise, it is in Excellent condition. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from Susie Morton as the widow of Gary Morton, Ms. Ball's second husband. The lot is not offered by the estate of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
