New York Traffic by Meinsdorff Used in Here's Lucy. A 19.5" x 15.5" oil painting on canvasboard, signed at the lower right. The painting was featured in a studio still for Here's Lucy (photo included), and was most likely used as a set prop in the show. Lucy may have pulled the piece from her own collection for the production (or perhaps she obtained it from the set as a post-production souvenir?), a fantastic piece, either way! The work is in very good original condition in its original frame which measures 27.5" x 23.5". This lot will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from Susie Morton as the widow of Gary Morton, Ms. Ball's second husband. The lot is not offered by the estate of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
