Description

Rolling Stones Teen Beat '63 Floral Hall Ballroom Concert Poster (1963). This is quite possibly the earliest known concert poster for the Rolling Stones. The lineup for the group did not finalize until early in 1963, and the Stones had recently released their first single, "Come On", when this September 27th gig took place in Morecambe. Within a few days, the band embarked on their first UK tour, as support for the Everly Brothers and Little Richard. While this famous poster has been reproduced a number of times in different sizes, this is believed to be a first printing, and originated from the collection of one of the members of the Doodle-Bugs, who opened the show. The poster measures 20" x 30", and shows some minor fold creases; otherwise, it's a solid Very Good condition item.
