Description

Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band Crawford Hall Concert Poster, Signed by Rick Griffin (1968). A first printing example of some typical Rick Griffin poster imagery -- Hopi Indian mask, bat-winged eyeball, winged heart, and a beetle -- all for one of the strangest acts to hit the Rock music scene, Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band. This is from the band's Trout Mask Replica era, highly sought-after by collectors today. The poster measures approximately 14" x 20", and is in Excellent condition. Signed by Griffin in black marker in the lower right.
