Beatles Related - John Lennon Handwritten Note to Fred Seaman. A 6.5" x 4.5" note handwritten by Lennon in black ink, addressed to his personal assistant, Fred Seaman. In it, Lennon lists a number of desired audio recording for use in recording Double Fantasy. In full: "Fred - get the NAGRA (?) tape deck with stereo (head) microphones - you wear them on your ears. (ask Jack Douglas or John Smith) I need two sets of mikes to plug into one tape recorder. Also a miniature set of components (sic) (same as in the bedroom)". Douglas and Smith were producer and engineer, respectively, on the album. The note is in Excellent condition and is matted and framed along with a b&w 13.5" x 20" photo of Lennon taken on August 7, 1980 -- the first day of recording the album at the Hit Factory -- that is #8 in a limited edition of 250 signed by photographer John Farrington, to an overall size of 23" x 25.5".
