Glenn Ford's Shooting Awards (1955). Includes a First Place patch and two medals for the Southwestern Command Pistol Team and a First Place patch and three medals for the Southwestern Command Rifle Team. Ford was credited with being the fastest gun in Hollywood Westerns, able to draw a pistol and fire in 0.4 seconds. Both sets of awards are in Very Fine condition with some areas of discoloration and are encased in 5.5" x 7.5" x 1.75" display boxes. Also in this lot is a humorous 16" x 11" wooden sign painted with the motto "Love your enemies, but keep your gun oiled!" that hung in Ford's bar among his rare books. In Excellent condition.
