Description

Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas '75 Banner and Stage Passes. This 66" x 44" nylon banner hung on the stage during many performances of the Stones' 1975 tour. The first tour to feature guitarist Ron Wood, it ran for just two months in the US and Canada, with the planned dates for Mexico, Brazil, and Venezuela being cancelled due to currency fluctuations and security concerns. The inscription "Jeff, I hope we know each other for a long, long time. V." is written in blue ink in the lower right corner by an unknown hand. The banner is in Very Fine condition with some fraying along the right edge, and is accompanied by a backstage staff pass for the August 8 performance in Buffalo, New York (the tour's final stop).
